Exclusive Webinar: Coupa & Rossum on AP & Spend Management

As organisations scale rapidly, finance, procurement and IT teams risk becoming entangled in fragmented systems.
This fragmentation is often intensified by manual processes, siloed ways of working and limited visibility into spend.
Together, these challenges can lead to delayed payments, recurring errors and reduced control over budgets.
Expanding technology estates add another layer of complexity. As businesses introduce specialised tools across finance, procurement and IT, data becomes dispersed across platforms â a challenge commonly described as âtool sprawlâ.
Without proper integration, organisations face reduced visibility, increased shadow spend, duplicated subscriptions and time-consuming manual reconciliation.
For finance leaders aiming to stay agile, the focus has shifted beyond simple digitisation towards unifying systems, teams and data within a single operating model.
To address this, Coupa and Rossum are hosting an exclusive webinar titled The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on 17 June from 10:00am to 11:00am BST.
The role of AI in spend management
While a range of solutions aim to tackle these challenges, Coupa and Rossum are widely recognised as leaders in the space. Partners since 2024, Coupa announced at Coupa Inspire in 2026 that it would acquire Rossum.
This move builds on an existing partnership that already streamlines complex AP invoicing.
By extending Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capabilities across the full Coupa platform, the combined offering advances autonomous spend management through agentic AI.
Customers already leveraging Rossumâs embedded AP functionality within Coupa can now extend these capabilities across both direct and indirect spend. Powered by a specialised Transactional Large Language Model (T-LLM), Rossumâs enhanced IDP technology enables faster processing, significant cost reductions and full control over complex invoicing data.
Commenting on the acquisition, CEO of Coupa Leagh Turner said: âRossum changes the game entirely.
"As a strong partner since 2024, we know there is incredible value in bringing the two companies together across the entire source-to-pay function.
âThe combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in AP and invoicing, and we see massive future value in applying Rossumâs T-LLM and AI-first technology across the Coupa platform.
"Weâve been able to deliver over US$300bn in customer savings over the past 20 years. With Rossum, we believe we can help them save the next US$300bn in five with a system of decision and intelligence that is unrivaled.â
Rossum replaces traditional OCR approaches with a purpose-built, AI-first architecture. Its proprietary model, trained on tens of millions of documents, continuously learns from unique transactional data to deliver rapid time-to-value.

How did Eurowag build its success with Coupa?
Coupa and Rossum, in collaboration with Accenture, supported Eurowag in overcoming fragmented workflows and siloed operations created by rapid acquisition-driven growth.
The London-based commercial mobility and financial solutions provider standardised its procure-to-pay processes using Coupa.
By replacing disconnected invoice workflows with automated AP systems and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) across its 2,000 employees, Eurowag achieved 100% standardisation of AP processes groupwide and gained full real-time visibility into spend.
This transformation, powered by automated three-way matching, strengthened financial controls to reduce fraud and prevent overpayments.
As a result, Eurowag increased its on-time payment performance by 30% while significantly improving compliance and audit readiness.
Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag, says: âCoupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices â supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail.â
During the upcoming webinar, attendees will hear directly from those involved in the transformation as they unpack the strategy behind modernising Eurowagâs operations.
Participants will learn how a standardised, end-to-end AP process was implemented and how AI-driven automation created a 'single source of truth' for all spend data.
The webinar will cover:
- Transformation strategy: How Eurowag moved to proactive, real-time spend management from from reactive, manual firefighting
- The power of integration: A closer look at the unified Coupa and Rossum ecosystem and how Accenture developed a scalable core model across 60 global entities
- Measurable business outcomes: How Eurowag reached a 70% automation rate, reduced processing time from nine days to four and increased on-time payments to more than 90%
- Scaling for the future: An early view of the 2026 roadmap, including advanced AI initiatives and centralised global supplier contracts.
Finance, procurement and IT leaders seeking a practical framework to eliminate operational inefficiencies and build a data-driven foundation for global growth are encouraged to attend.
