inDrive Names RingCentral's Ex-CFO to Lead Global Finance

Ride-hailing and delivery platform inDrive has appointed Abhey Lamba as Chief Financial Officer, adding a seasoned finance executive to its leadership team as the company scales across 48 countries.
Abhey takes on responsibility for inDrive's entire global finance function, covering financial planning and reporting, accounting, tax and investor relations.
His remit spans the company's core mobility business as well as a growing set of adjacent services including delivery, freight, advertising and financial services for drivers.
The company, which operates in over 48 countries and 1,100 cities, is expanding its leadership team with the addition of Abhey shortly after the appointment of Sidd Mantri as Chief Product Officer.
A high-profile hire
Most recently, Abhey served as CFO at cloud communications company RingCentral, where he guided the finance organisation through AI-driven disruption in its core markets.
Prior to that, he was Vice President of Infrastructure Finance at Amazon Web Services. Earlier roles include senior finance positions at Cisco and Autodesk.
He also spent 15 years as an equity analyst at Mizuho Securities, UBS and ISI Group, advising institutional investors and supporting technology companies on financial strategy and investor engagement.
He holds a B.Tech from IIT Bombay, an MS from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from The Wharton School, and began his career as a software engineer.
Commenting on his appointment, Abhey explains his excitement to lead the company’s financial operations as inDrive elevates its senior leadership team: “inDrive has built something rare: a profitable, mission-led business operating at meaningful scale across some of the world's most dynamic markets, with fairness wired into how it serves drivers and riders.
“I'm joining at a moment where strong fundamentals and a great team are in place to compound that advantage. I look forward to partnering with Arsen and the leadership team to build the financial discipline and governance to support inDrive's next chapter.”
A business with momentum
The appointment comes on the back of a strong financial year. In 2025, inDrive reported gross bookings of US$6.4bn – a roughly 30% year-on-year increase – alongside revenue of US$601.6m, up 31% on the prior year. The company also achieved positive adjusted EBITDA and net income.
inDrive founder and CEO Arsen Tomsky notes: “I'm very pleased to welcome Abhey to the company. He brings deep expertise in a variety of strategic leadership roles across the finance organisation including financial planning and analysis, investor relations and equity research.
“Following the recent addition of Sidd Mantri as Chief Product Officer, bringing in a CFO of Abhey's calibre reflects our confidence in where inDrive is headed and our commitment to building a senior management team that can take us there."
Abhey’s appointment rounds out a leadership team that inDrive has been actively strengthening as it pushes further into markets across Asia, Latin America and Africa.
