MoonPay Announces New CFO Amid Growth Strategy

MoonPay, a global fintech firm focusing on driving value across fiat wallets and digital assets, has named Anne Giviskos as Chief Financial Officer.
Anne recently served as Interim CFO and Chief Accounting Officer at AI-powered business travel and expense platform Navan.
Her appointment comes as MoonPay continues to develop its platform to accelerate value across the enterprise.
Discussing Anne’s appointment, Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO and Founder of MoonPay, says: “Anne knows how to help ambitious companies navigate defining moments.
“She brings experience from public markets and fast-growing technology companies, along with the judgement and discipline to help MoonPay expand responsibly across payments, stablecoins and financial markets.”
Anne’s two decades in finance
With more than 20 years’ experience building and safeguarding the infrastructure of traditional markets, Anne brings a deep understanding of scaling regulated financial enterprises and integrating acquisitions.
As MoonPay’s new CFO, Anne will oversee its finance organisation, set financial and capital strategy and build the infrastructure necessary to support MoonPay's next growth phase.
Anne joins the company at a pivotal time amid MoonPay’s leadership team expansion plans.
Recently, MoonPay welcomed several members and advisors with experience spanning Wall Street, national security, Silicon Valley and digital assets to its executive board.
Discussing the company’s leadership reshuffle and growth plans, Anne says: “The way money moves is being rebuilt and MoonPay sits at the centre of that shift, with the products, partners and global reach to lead it.
“I'm thrilled to join the team as MoonPay scales into the company this moment calls for.”
MoonPay’s M&A strategy
Founded in 2019, MoonPay serves more than 35 million customers in 180 countries and more than 1,500 enterprise clients across crypto and fintech.
Its products support payments, trading, commerce, stablecoin infrastructure and several other services that connect conventional payment networks with blockchain-based financial systems.
Recently, the company launched MoonPay Trade, a platform that gives applications and institutions access to more than 200 blockchains and protocols through a single API.
It also acquired DFlow, a Solana trading infrastructure platform that has already processed US$45bn in volume in 2026.
DFlow transactions appear across more than 95% of Solana blocks daily, and MoonPay's trading infrastructure powers some of the largest crypto platforms, enabling Solana trades for Coinbase and cross-chain swaps in Ledger Wallet.
MoonPay also introduced PayBox in July of this year, expanding its agentic finance offerings. Later in September, the company entered into an agreement to acquire North Capital, growing its business into onchain capital markets.
In early 2025, Ivan discussed MoonPay’s future growth and acquisition plans in an interview with CoinDesk.
Discussing the possibility of mergers and acquisitions, Ivan said: “M&A is a huge growth driver to our business. We view it as an accelerator to help us move quickly and bring more products to market.
“A big part of our M&A strategy is identifying the right companies to help achieve our vision for the future of payments.”
He added that the firm had always been open-minded when it came to mergers and acquisitions, noting that MoonPay’s previous acquisitions – such as its purchase of Entendre, Glide and Dawn Labs – had only enhanced its cash flow.
Commenting on MoonPay’s acquisition strategy, Ivan said: “It’s about speed, scaling by acquiring great teams with a sharp founder mindset.”
