Schuh Announces Former Footasylum Executive as CFO

Schuh has named former Footasylum finance chief, Nick Scott, as its new CFO, effective 2 November 2026.
Nick brings more than two decades of financial and operational leadership experience across fashion, retail and manufacturing to Schuh, having most recently been at Footasylum since 2023.
Prior to working at Footasylum, Nick served as COO at Suit Direct – a brand owned by Baird Group – from 2018 to 2023.
Schuh says that Nick will join the leadership team to “strengthen financial operations, support sustainable growth” and continue its move to become the “unrivalled” destination for fashion footwear among the youth market.

“[Nick’s] track record of supporting businesses through change and delivering improved performance will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our position as the UK’s go-to fashion footwear destination and deliver an even better experience for our customers.”

New leadership across Schuh’s board
Nick will report directly to Tomas, who replaced Colin Temple when he retired earlier this year.
Tomas joined Schuh following nine years at Foot Locker, in which he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, overseeing the company’s largest international business.
In July, he was named President of Schuh by its parent company Genesco.
He also led Foot Locker’s premium sneaker banner Atmos as Global General Manager and held senior roles at other sportswear brands such as Intersport and Puma.
Speaking about his appointment at the time, Tomas said he was “honoured” to join Schuh and the Genesco family and praised Schuh’s leadership team for building an “outstanding business with a unique culture, exceptional people and strong brand partnerships”.
