UK’s Blue Light Card sees Martin Kvist as new Finance Chief

Blue Light Card, a rewards service for the frontline community supporting savings, announces the appointment of Martin Kvist as its new CFO

Blue Light Card partners with over 15,000 corporations to be able to offer discounts to its members. 

Members include frontline employees such as NHS members, emergency service workers, various military branches and mountain rescue. 

Martin leaves his post at TooGoodToGo, which focuses on resolving food waste by partnering with local business. 

Speaking to Finance Chief exclusively, Martin Kvist, new CFO at Blue Light Card, says: “Blue Light Card has significant ambition for its next phase of growth, and I’m looking forward to driving finance as a strategic partner in that ambition, from where we invest to how we scale and continue delivering value for our members and partners.

The growth roadmap for Blue Light Card

Blue Light Card is expanding to its next stage of growth with the appointment. Already live in Australia, the company has helped members in the UK save £560m (US$754.36m) in the last 12 months. 

It currently serves over six million members in the UK.

Martin replaces outgoing Vicky Norrish, who departs after an almost-six year tenure.

Nike: Footwear mogul and sportswear leader Nike was founded in 1964. It is led by CEO Elliott Hill, who was appointed in 2024. The company is headquartered in Oregon, US, in its Philip H. Knight campus which spans 162 hectares and includes more than 75 buildings. 

SharkNinja: Under CoRefounder and CEO Mark Barrocas, SharkNinja is a leading electronics brand which brought in US$6.4bn in annual revenue at the end of 2025. The company was founded in 1997 by Mark Rosenzweig in Canada. SharkNinja HQ is currently based in Massachusetts, US

Ikea: IKEA, founded in 1943, has established itself as the world's leading home furnishings retailer. With headquarters in Delft, Netherlands, and a workforce of 219,000, IKEA operates with a mission to make well-designed, functional home furnishings available to as many people as possible, at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them. CEO Jakub Jankowski leads Inter IKEA group.
