An expert in finance 

James Murnieks, CFO of Siemens Great Britain & Ireland, has two decades of experience in finance. 

Having held multiple CFO roles in France, Germany and the UK, James is well-versed on how leadership is pivotal to financial strategy.

He has considerable experience in delivering business transformation, in addition to building a high performance culture and of course, profitable growth. 

Starting off with a degree in engineering from the University of Manchester, James chose to embrace a career in finance, starting off at powerhouse PwC. There, he trained as a financial auditor. 

Moving over to Siemens in 2004, he was originally in the company’s UK&I Internal Audit department, before stepping up to a financial role in Siemens IT Solutions. 

His latest role was CFO of Region Europe at Siemens, for its Financial Services Commercial Finance business unit.

James was appointed as CFO of Siemens UK&I and Head of Finance for Siemens Smart Infrastructure UK&I in early 2022.
