The Estee Lauder Companies welcomes new Regional CFO after an internal promotion for Kostas Andreou shortly after its Q3 success

The Estee Lauder Companies has made an internal move shortly after its Q3 results announced earlier in the year.

Kostas Andreou, who has spent the last eight years at the luxury personal care brand, has been promoted to Regional CFO for Europe, UK and Ireland.

He has been elevated from his prior role as Vice President for FP&A and Finance Operations EUKEM, which he has been since July 2025.

Kostas Andreou, Regional CFO Europe, UK&I for The Estee Lauder Companies says: “I am excited and humbled to step into the role of Vice President Finance / Regional CFO for Europe, UK & I, and Emerging Markets (EUKEM) at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.

“I am deeply grateful for the inspiration, support and partnerships that have shaped my journey so far.

“A special thank you to Stephane de La Faverie, Akhil Shrivastava and Nadine GRAF for your trust, guidance and belief in me.”

Kostas started his career at Estee Lauder in 2018 as the firm’s FP&A Director for EMEA. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Mondelez International and pharmaceutical giant Novartis.

Prior to that, he worked in the financial departments for other retail giants such as Nike and Unilever.

Kostas continues: “I look forward to continuing to partner with our talented teams across the region and our global leadership team as we bring our Beauty Reimagined strategy to life and accelerate sustainable, long-term growth.”

A stellar year so far

Financial growth for the company is up, as it reports on its Q3 earnings with a rise in net sales by 5% – bringing the total to US$3.7bn.

The company also announced in March that it would acquire remaining interest in Forest Essentials.

Stéphane de La Faverie, President and CEO said at the time: “Our third quarter results extend strong year-to-date performance, driven by Beauty Reimagined.

“In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, organic sales for Fragrance rose double-digits, while three of four regions grew, led by high single-digit growth in mainland China where we outperformed prestige beauty to gain share.

“With momentum across all five action plan priorities of Beauty Reimagined, today we raised our fiscal 2026 outlook, now expecting organic sales growth at the high-end of the prior range and adjusted operating margin expansion to approach 300 basis points, bolstered in part by adjusted gross margin expansion.”

Smells like success

Further to its successful Q3 results, the brand has placed stress on its scent section. Pairing with Academy-Award winning actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld for its latest fragrance, Glimmer, Estee Lauder’s new scent aims to “inspire optimism, foster community and leave a lasting impression” according to the brand.

Fragrance net sales increased 10% this quarter, which the brand says was driven by growth from its  luxury brands, led by Le Labo, Killian Paris, Tom Ford and Balmain Beauty.
