How FloQast’s platform powers the partnership

FloQast is an accounting workflow automation platform that helps organisations sharpen their financial accuracy.

The company uses an autonomous accounting system, leveraging AI to handle repetitive and compliance-related tasks.

FloQast has established itself as a significant player in the financial services industry, particularly at a time when enterprises are looking to modernise operations through automation rather than relying solely on employee- or executive-led oversight.

Under the partnership, PwC teams will conduct client finance tasks within the FloQast platform.

These activities include month-end closing, account reconciliations, core accounting tasks and regulatory compliance.

Using the system, clients can scale their required service levels on demand, avoiding internal recruitment, onboarding and retention expenditure.

The service is designed for CFOs, finance directors and controllers who are currently trying to navigate a challenging hiring market, as well as the complications around hybrid work.

By moving away from spreadsheet-based processes, the partnership will allow for a permanent digital audit trail and clear oversight of the entire process.

Commenting on FloQast’s capabilities and how they will empower PwC’s services, Adam Zoucha, Chief Revenue Officer at FloQast, says: “PwC UK’s managed services, powered by FloQast’s autonomous accounting platform, go beyond traditional business process outsourcing to enable organisations to build scalable, resilient finance functions.”

He adds that, with both companies’ combined strengths, the expanded partnership will bring together “world-class accounting talent and AI-powered technology” to empower finance leaders to “reduce compliance burden, stay audit-ready and optimise accuracy and efficiency”.

This focus on AI-ready systems is echoed by FloQast in a recent LinkedIn post, in which the company states that AI-mature accounting teams close their books two days faster than less mature ones.

However, it adds: “Speed is only half the battle. The most AI-mature teams also standardise every process before automating it, name a reviewer for every task, and bring auditors in early."

PwC and FloQast at Take Control London 2026

Last month, PwC joined FloQast at Take Control London 2026, FloQast’s inaugural user conference, which allowed attendees to directly voice their thoughts on putting AI and automation to work in the financial services industry.

The event was sponsored by several big names in the financial services industry, including PwC UK, CFGI and Vantagepoint.

Throughout the day, the event featured keynotes, breakout sessions and panel discussions from industry leaders. A key takeaway was a shared sense among attendees and speakers that AI in accounting had moved beyond experimentation and was now producing tangible results.

Hugh O’Neill, Accountant in Residence at FloQast, says one of the key takeaways from the event was the importance of combining innovation with strong financial controls and auditability.

He adds that these factors “need to be considered together from the outset, rather than addressing the risks once the technology is in place”.
